Perfect Autumn sunshine drew me out for another foray into York on a busy Saturday afternoon. The light seemed to bring out some of the detail often lost in the streets.

The weather this week has been like it should have been in the middle of Summer. Desperate not to waste the sunshine I set out for a cycle/walk down the Ouse to Bishopthorpe. The result was some archetypical views of an English country landscape.
